Pam Colley’s Pecans

Ingredients:

  • 1 tablespoon (or more) grated orange rind
  • 1/4 cup orange juice
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 4 cups pecan halves

Directions:

  • Combine the first three ingredients in a heavy saucepan and cook over medium heat until full boil.
  • Stir in the pecans and continue to cook and stir until all the syrup is absorbed.
  • Remove from heat and spread (separating pecan halves) on a sheet of foil.
